Falls of the Ohio State Park

We met Nana and Grandad in Louisville on Tuesday. We spent the day visiting Falls of the Ohio State Park and shopping at the mall. Madeline got a doll stroller and pushed around the mall like she was so big. She also managed to turn the booth at Texas Roadhouse into a dance floor. :) We had a great day, even though it was HOT!

Rock Stars!

Madeline had a play date with Corrigan and Claireece on Monday. They turned our fireplace into a rock concert! We need to get some more microphones before they come over again!

Madeline's 1st Patio Night!

Madeline survived her first patio night! She was only awake for the first hour, then she slept through the rest of the craziness like a perfect baby! Our first party in the new house turned out to be a lot of fun!

Play Date

Katie brought Elyse over today for a play date. The two blonde girls had a great time! They looked adorable playing together in their pink outfits!

My Busy Weekend!

Madeline had a very busy weekend! We headed to Nana and Grandad's on Thursday so Mommy could go to the Kenny Chesney concert with Aunt KK. (It was SO good!) Nana and Grandad babysat, then the next day we went shopping and to the park. Madeline had the playground to herself! Talk about spoiled! It was so nice and shaded, and right on the river. She watched the barges go by, and saw 2 trains on the bridge. She loved the swing! We had a great trip. On Saturday afternoon, we stopped at Pa's to visit and guess who thinks she needs her own motorcycle after sitting on Pa's new bike??

2nd 4th of July

We went to the Burden's tonight for BBQ and fireworks. The girls had Shirley Temples in their sippy cups while the Moms had pomegranite martinis! It was so funny! We had a great time. They were great hosts. Maddie J was a nightowl! She stayed up until 10:30! She watched some fireworks, but decided she'd rather go in when it started raining a little bit. Otherwise, she was a great baby. Last 4th, she was a day shy of 3 months old. Now, she'll be 15 months. We can't get over how fast she has grown!

Mad Potter

We went to the Mad Potter to paint for the first time today and then had lunch at Chic-Fil-A. The girls did a great job painting, as long as they had some goldfish crackers to snack on! We had so much fun!

Here is a video of Madeline at home this week. She is having a great summer- going to the pool and playing with Mommy all day. We love spending time together in the new house. She is learning so much and talking so much. She misses her Nana and Grandad though!
