Our Little Wildcat

Here are some pictures we took of Madeline before the UK/UL football game. Nana and Grandad spent the weekend with us, and Aunt KK and Ben spent one night. They brought Madeline's Build-a-bear a new UK outfit, so we had to deck her out in it! Now when you ask Madeline "What's the Wildcat say?" she growls! She can also say "Go Cats!" So cute!

1st Corn on the Cob!

Jerrod has been going to the Farmer's Market on the weekends to get tomatoes since our plant has produced only 3 all summer. He ususally gets corn on the cob, and we cut some off and put it in a bowl for Madeline. Tonight, she kept reaching for mine and saying, "Corn!" I couldn't resist giving it to her. She was hilarious with it! We were cracking up because she was holding it like one of her dolls saying, "Aaahhh." Then she kissed it! She is so funny! She did pretty well for her first corn on the cob experience, but she needed a bath as soon as dinner was over!

New Friends

Well, even though mornings have been rough dropping off Madeline at Ms. Sherry's, it seems that she is just trying to give Mommy a guilt trip! She is obviously having fun with her new friends, Hunter and Nate. She also gets to play with Elyse everyday at the sitter's. Thanks to Ms. Sherry for emailing us the pictures!

Playing Outside

Here are some pictures of Madeline in her new hat that Loren gave her yesterday. She was our own little Minnie Pearl running around last night because she wouldn't be still long enough for us to take the tag off of the sunhat! Then she drove her car for awhile, and we had to take pictures because her hair was actually blowing in the breeze! We're hoping that means she is finally growing some!!

Lone Oak Pool

Madeline got to go to the pool today with Heather Smith and her son Hunter. Madeline and Hunter are going to be at the babysitter together this year. Loren came too, so of course Madeline did not go one second without attention! She brought her a new cha cha sunhat that is pink and green. Maddie loved playing in the big pool trying to do things Hunter was doing. She also liked being pushed by Hunter's mom around the pool in his fish float. Hunter got a big kick out of all of the words Madeline was saying. It was a great pool date!

Miss Priss

Check out our Little Miss Priss! She loves wearing her sunglasses now, and likes to carry around her hairbrush so she can brush her dolls and bears. She also LOVES shoes! Look out, Hollywood!!
