On the go!

Madeline spent most of her weekend on the go. We had 6 house showings, so we had to be gone both Saturday and Sunday. (Hopefully we'll get an offer!) On Saturday Maddie got to see Pa and Uncle Rich. Sunday we went to the mall, and then looked at a few car lots searching for something with more room for Mommy and Madeline. When we finally got home, she enjoyed a snack and played. She was so glad to get to finally be home for a while!

No Snow For Me!!

Grandad had a great suggestion-- get a disc sled and pull Maddie around the backyard in the snow! We thought that would be adorable, so we borrowed a sled from Julie and tied a rope on it. We bundled up the baby like an Eskimo, got ourselves bundled too, and grabbed the camera and snowman kit. After all of the trouble, Madeline said, "no snow for me!" She was not thrilled with her heavy coat (who needs mittens when your coat sleeves are too long?) She would ride on the sled, but started to cry once when she fell over on it. She was SO cute with her scrunchy mad face, which we honestly don't get to see too often. But, there is no sledding video because we weren't outside long enough to make one! She had a blast playing with the snowman parts once we got inside. The only snow Madeline wanted to play with was the little bit that blew in the door and was on the carpet. We hope she likes sand better than snow, or it might be a long week at the beach in June!!

She CAN say bear...

Madeline had been saying 'bear' all day, so I was sure I could get her to say it for the camera. Yeah, right. Here's the video clip anyway. Jerrod has been down with the flu since Wednesday night, so we have had tons of girl time! She says 'dada' everytime he peeks out of the bedroom to see what we're doing. She is going to be so excited when he gets better and can play with her again.

Weekend Fun

Madeline had a great weekend! She went shopping with Nana and Aunt KK, kissed on Grandad, and played with Toby (their Scottie). She and Toby are new buds. She's also still Mommy's tiny baby sometimes. And who needs a spoon when you can just tip up your baby food jar and enjoy! She is a funny baby!

First Valentines Day

Madeline had a very cute first Valentines Day! She looked so cute in her valentine outfit. This morning we gave her a monkey that dances and sings, and 2 books. She loved the monkey! She wanted to play with it all night. Thanks to Nana & Grandad and Aunt Jane for the 'Baby's First Valentine" cards!

Big Girl

Madeline can finally use her riding/walking toy that Santa brought her for Christmas. She had so much fun riding on it tonight! She wants Pa to hurry and get his motorcycle so they can race! She actually was able to walk behind it without anyone holding onto her. She's getting big!

Busy Baby

Madeline is keeping us busy these days! She is crawling and talking more than ever. She is so much fun. She has been trying to say "clock." She also said "Nana" when we were on the phone with her this week. The video clip shows a little bit of her talking and pulling up.
