Weekend Fun

Madeline had a great weekend! She went shopping with Nana and Aunt KK, kissed on Grandad, and played with Toby (their Scottie). She and Toby are new buds. She's also still Mommy's tiny baby sometimes. And who needs a spoon when you can just tip up your baby food jar and enjoy! She is a funny baby!

First Valentines Day

Madeline had a very cute first Valentines Day! She looked so cute in her valentine outfit. This morning we gave her a monkey that dances and sings, and 2 books. She loved the monkey! She wanted to play with it all night. Thanks to Nana & Grandad and Aunt Jane for the 'Baby's First Valentine" cards!

Big Girl

Madeline can finally use her riding/walking toy that Santa brought her for Christmas. She had so much fun riding on it tonight! She wants Pa to hurry and get his motorcycle so they can race! She actually was able to walk behind it without anyone holding onto her. She's getting big!

Busy Baby

Madeline is keeping us busy these days! She is crawling and talking more than ever. She is so much fun. She has been trying to say "clock." She also said "Nana" when we were on the phone with her this week. The video clip shows a little bit of her talking and pulling up.

Nana and Grandad come to visit!

Nana and Grandad spent Friday night and Saturday with us. We had a lot of fun playing with Madeline, going out to eat, and shopping. They brought Madeline the cutest black hat and purse that she had to try on as soon as she opened them. Then when we went shopping Saturday, Nana found the perfect red coat with black velvet cuffs to match the hat and purse. She couldn't resist buying it. Madeline really enjoyed their visit. She loved it when Grandad would tell her secrets! She would rest her cheek on his and listen for a long time! It was so cute. She showed off her crawling, talking and pulling up skills. We even think she said "book" 3 or 4 times while they were here! We are so glad they came!

Tooth #6!!

We got a big surprise Thursday night while we were brushing Madeline's teeth. She had a new tooth on top! And when we were brushing on Friday night, she had another new tooth!! Two new teeth in two days! That makes a total of 6: 4 on top and 2 on the bottom. Here she is showing off a few of them.

And She's Off!

Madeline has perfected her crawling! After crawling backward for 2 weeks, she all of a sudden knows how to go forward, and she's gotten pretty quick at it! She also said "mama" for the first time last night, and said it tons of times today. Her other new trick is pulling herself to standing using the fronts of our couch cushions. She can hang on and stand up for about 20 seconds. Guess we bought outlet safety plugs just in time! The video is of some crawling this morning, and she's already gotten better at it in just one day!
