Busy Weekend!

Madeline's weekend was BUSY! Nana and Grandad came up on Thursday night to keep her on Friday. Then Saturday we went shopping, planted flowers, and grilled out. Saturday night, they stayed with Madeline again while we went to the Keith Urban/Carrie Underwood concert. (Keith Urban is an awesome show, but Carrie Underwood not so much.) She managed to find time to play with Toby (Nana and Grandad's scottie), lead Grandad around the house, do a fashion show to model one of her new swimsuits, and eat Pringles! Then on Sunday, she got to spend time with Pa! She is more rotten than ever after all of the spoiling this weekend!

Taking steps!

Our little Princess decided she wanted to walk this weekend! She can take up to 10 consecutive steps now! It's so cute, but we haven't been able to get a good video clip of it yet! We'll keep trying and post Madeline walking ASAP!!!!

My First Birthday Party!!

Madeline turned one year old today! We had her first birthday party at Gymboree Play and Music. It was a blast! We have officially voted it the best place to have a party for a toddler. They did an awesome job incorporating our Princess theme, and all of the toys and equipment were just the right size for all of the kids. Madeline's friends Wyatt, Avah, Corrigan, Claireece, Elyse and Reese Kathryn came to the party. They brought her some great gifts and played the entire time! Thank you to all of our friends and family who came to celebrate Maddie's first year with us. We can't imagine our lives without her. She is just the best thing ever. We also want to thank Nana and Aunt KK for helping with set up and clean up. We couldn't have done it without the two of them. Happy first birthday, Madeline Jade!!

Getting Ready

We are busy getting ready for Madeline's party! (To all of the adults coming, make sure you wear socks! Any adults in the play area have to take their shoes off- so do the kids, but they can be barefoot.) All we have left to take care of are the party favors. And oh yeah, Jerrod has to put together the kitchen we got Maddie.
We have officially sold our house (finally) and have made an offer on another house in Waterford! We should know by 5pm Wednesday if they accept the offer. That puts us moving on May 7!! Spring Break has been busy with house shopping, getting Madeline's one year pictures made, and doing last minute party stuff. On top of that, we have started packing, and are having an appraisal and inspection done this week! Madeline is the lucky one-- she won't remember any of this chaos!!!
We can't wait for her party! Lots of pictures to come!!

Facing Forward

We turned Madeline's carseat last night! She thinks she is so big! As you can tell, she is right at home facing forward!

Easter Sunday

Madeline had a very nice Easter. We went to church, then went to Pa's for Easter lunch. Pa gave her an adorable bunny that sings, and we gave her a big stuffed rabbit. She really liked eating macaroni and cheese for lunch and she even got some sweet tea (at least it was decaf). She played and had a great day. She looked beautiful in the blue dress Nana bought for her.
