Who needs tailgating when you can play at the park before the football game?

Princess Baby

Jerrod got Madeline the book Princess Baby by Karen Katz because the little girl in the book looks just like her. So when it came in the mail today, we pointed to the girl on the cover and asked Maddie, "Who's that?" She smiled and said, "Madeline!" It was like she knew exactly what we were thinking! Here she is after we finished reading it. She loves it! We think it was written just for her because she definitely has already found her princess side!!

Weekend Trip

We took a trip to Henderson to see Nana and Grandad this weekend. Madeline got to go to the zoo for the first time, and had a blast. We think she liked the hippo and bird the best. She was so good all weekend. She played ball with Toby and ended up in his swimming pool with him! That meant that she had to get in the jacuzzi tub for a bath afterward. She loved it! We all had a great time! She is so much fun right now!

Baby Shower

The big day finally arrived! We had the baby shower for Emmi and Kylie Hope on Saturday. It was such a good shower. Kylie got such good gifts. She is going to have a gorgeous wardrobe!! Madeline had a great time, and finally warmed up to all of the company. She did not go one second without attention! She kissed Emmi's tummy and would say, "Hi, KyKy!" That's her way of saying Kylie. After the shower was over she got to dance to Guitar Hero with Bo and we watched the boys play pool. Mommy, Loren, Emmi, Madeline and Kylie were smart- we sat on the couch and relaxed!

Our Little Wildcat

Here are some pictures we took of Madeline before the UK/UL football game. Nana and Grandad spent the weekend with us, and Aunt KK and Ben spent one night. They brought Madeline's Build-a-bear a new UK outfit, so we had to deck her out in it! Now when you ask Madeline "What's the Wildcat say?" she growls! She can also say "Go Cats!" So cute!

1st Corn on the Cob!

Jerrod has been going to the Farmer's Market on the weekends to get tomatoes since our plant has produced only 3 all summer. He ususally gets corn on the cob, and we cut some off and put it in a bowl for Madeline. Tonight, she kept reaching for mine and saying, "Corn!" I couldn't resist giving it to her. She was hilarious with it! We were cracking up because she was holding it like one of her dolls saying, "Aaahhh." Then she kissed it! She is so funny! She did pretty well for her first corn on the cob experience, but she needed a bath as soon as dinner was over!
