LCA Open House

Madeline had a blast visiting her future preschool classroom Monday night. She didn't want to leave! We can't believe it's already time for her to start school. It is exciting and a little sad all at the same time. Our baby girl is growing up too fast!

Dedication Service

Here are pictures from the baby (or in our case, toddler) dedication service at church today. It was very nice- the mothers and grandmothers got flowers and each child got a new bible. Thanks to Pa, Nana and Grandad for coming to support us!

Blessing

Here is Madeline saying the blessing over her pretend birthday party this afternoon. Her Aunt Viv from Florida bought her the cutest cake decorating set, and it is the hot item around our house. I had to catch this on film because her imagination is hilarious right now. Diego, Dora, Madeline and I enjoyed our plastic cake!!

We had to post some of our latest pictures. Here are Madeline's 3 year old photos, taken by Jessica Snyder Photography. She was amazing to work with, as usual. Madeline cooperated and she got some great shots.
So far, three has been a fun age. Our girl cracks us up numerous times every day. She talks and sings all of the time. She is really into rhyming and telling us what letter everything starts with. She's pretty much ready for Kindergarten already. For now, we have our family interview at LCA tomorrow to hopefully get her into preschool there 2 mornings a week next school year.

Happy 3rd Birthday!

Madeline had a great 3rd birthday! Her party on Saturday was very nice. She got lots of presents and had so much fun playing with her friends. Thanks to everyone for the great gifts! Today, she celebrated with Nana at Musikgarten and gave cupcakes to her friends. Then tonight, she asked for tacos for her birthday dinner. We put candles in her taco so she could blow them out! Happy birthday, Princess! We love you!

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter! Our girl is one intense egg hunter! Nana and Grandad's side yard made the perfect spot for us to hide eggs... 86 of them to be exact! After getting 4 Easter baskets, eating bunny cupcakes Nana made her, and hunting eggs 3 times, she fell asleep in her car seat as soon as we headed home.
