Our Last Visit

This weekend was our last visit to Nana and Grandad's in Henderson. It's hard to believe they will be moved to Jessamine Co. in about a month! We are so happy to be getting their formal living room furniture.... now we can move Jerrod's office upstairs where it really belongs! We also helped Kerrie with lots of wedding stuff. We were really busy this visit, but here are some pictures I got of our little Monkey while we were there!

MJ's Derby Day

Even though the weather didn't really cooperate, Madeline enjoyed her Derby day. She colored her jockey silks, played with her horse and jockey, wore her Derby hat, and watched some of the horse races. Daddy went to Toys R Us to get her a stick horse, but of course they were sold out. Guess we were a little late. Once the rain stopped we got outside to play. She wore her raincoat for most of the day, inside and out! Our little 2 year old definitely cracks us up!

Madeline's 3rd Easter

It's hard to believe that we celebrated Madeline's 3rd Easter! She was 3 days old on her first Easter! She definitely enjoyed herself this year! On Saturday we went to South Elkhorn Christian for her first egg hunt! We were thrilled that Nana got to be here for it! MJ was such a little go getter! There was no stopping her! She got a basket full of eggs, then colored Easter pics and had cake. The grand finale was a visit from the Easter bunny. Madeline was so very excited about the bunny until we got close!
On Sunday before church she got her baskets from the Easter bunny and Nana & Grandad. Then after church she hunted eggs at home.

Another Party!

Madeline got to celebrate her birthday with her friends at Ms. Sherry's today. They had cookies and then she opened presents. She was definitely excited about it, because she talked about getting presents all the way home this afternoon! Thanks to Hunter, Nate, Elyse, Taylor and Ms. Sherry for making Madeline a very happy 2 year old!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Baby Girl!

Madeline had a great 2nd birthday! We had a wonderful party with family for her on Saturday evening. Then today, we spent time with Nana and Grandad. We fed the ducks at the lake, played in her sand & water table, swung on her swingset, and had her 2 year pictures made. It was busy, but we think she had a great birthday weekend! It is so hard to believe that she is 2 years old! We are thankful for the past 2 years, and are looking forward to all of the new things she'll do this year. Madeline is truly a blessing and we wouldn't trade her for the world! Happy birthday Madeline!

The Mad Potter

We met Emily,Reese and Julie at The Mad Potter today. We dressed the girls in their UK shirts and bows to celebrate Coach Cal. Madeline got an adorable raincoat as her birthday present from Reese. The first thing she said was,"It's pretty!" We painted a surprise for Daddy, then we went to Cheddars for lunch. Maddie needed a two hour nap when it was all over!
