We had a great time on New Years Eve! We are thankful for good friends and look forward to a great 2010!

A Great Christmas

Madeline had a wonderful 3rd Christmas! This was our first Christmas with Nana and Grandad in town. So, not driving to Western Kentucky meant a much slower paced Christmas with us at our house for Christmas Eve and a lot of Christmas day. Madeline's Pa spent Christmas Eve night with us, and all of the grandparents (including my Meemaw) were here by 8 AM Christmas day to watch the Princess open her gifts from Santa. The adults were up before Maddie was! I had to get her up at 8:00! She'll be up at 5 AM on Christmas morning before long! The gifts that seem to be her favorite so far are her digital camera, walking baby doll and her musical instruments.

Christmas Cookies

This year we included friends in making Christmas cookies with Grandmother's cookie cutters. Emmi, Kylie, Emily and Reese came over to have a morning of girl fun! The girls played, made cookies, danced to Jingle Bells, watched Dora Christmas Carol, and then played some more. We are so blessed to have such beautiful, healthy daughters. That is the gift I am most thankful for.

Southern Lights Round 2

We skipped the petting zoo and indoor stuff the first time around, so we went back to the horse park tonight. Madeline loved the trains the best.. so much that she couldn't resist touching one of them! Yep, it derailed the whole exhibit! She also enjoyed feeding carrot sticks to the animals. She wasn't scared by them at all!
